CBD-Infused Matcha Latte with Nut Milk [Vegan]

The L-theanine in the green tea tempers the caffeine, resulting in a calm and relaxed caffeine high. When combined with dairy-free milk, the drink turns into a delicious latte you’ll never tire of serving up. 

Ingredients

  • Matcha Green Tea Powder
    • (8 oz: ¾ tsp; 12 oz: 1 tsp; 16 oz: 1 ¼ tsp
  • 1 oz hot water
  • 8 oz green tea mug
  • 6 oz. of Almond, Coconut, or Hemp Milk (Steamed)
  • Sweetener (optional): 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Bamboo whisk

Instructions

  1. Add 1 oz hot water to an 8 oz mug. Add the match green tea powder. 
  2. Whisk in a ‘Z’ pattern 5 times, then up-and-down 5 times, then in a circular motion 5 more times. The intent is to completely dissolve the powder and create a creme similar to espresso. 
  3. Transfer the matcha concentrate to the serving cup/mug of choice. Add (optional: syrup) and steamed milk of choice. Enjoy!
