Ingredients
Scale
For the bliss balls
2 cups pecans
2 cups almonds
2 cups dates
3 Tbsp cacao
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash of sea salt
For the chocolate drizzle:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
2.5 Tbsp cacao
dash of sea salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
In a food processor, grind the almonds and pecans until they form a fine powder. Add the dates and pulse on medium-high until crumble forms.
Add the cacao, cinnamon, and sea salt, and continue to pulse until the texture is sticky and clumps together.
Roll 1 Tbsp of the mixture into a ball, and place on a tray covered with parchment paper. Repeat this step until all balls have been formed. Chill in the fridge.
Melt coconut oil in a double broiler. Add cacao, maple, vanilla, and a dash of sea salt, and whisk until a glaze forms.
Remove the balls from the fridge and dip in the chocolate glaze with a fork. Place on the parchment paper-covered tray and chill until the chocolate hardens.
Store the bliss balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 12 days.
