Well hello there, blooming soul!

Heaven knows a lot has been going on in my life. Set to depart Bangkok, Thailand and return to the United States the 27th of February, I have been busy catching up on different courses with my teachers here in Asia, freelance writing for various sites, finishing case studies with some clients, and planning one more class at Radiance Wholefoods before I embark on a new adventure.

With all the change (which feels like a constant in my life), I have really taken the time to look at what allows me to bloom with all my might and help me enjoy a life I love. 100%, it comes down to LOVE.

love

Doing what I love, inspiring love in others, channeling love from the Creator… and so much more.

But so when we celebrate Valentine’s Day, we often focus only on how we can make other people happy, or how they can make US happy.

There’s a fault to that thinking, but such creates a mental thought pattern of co-dependence, always seeking someone else to ‘fill our cup’ and ‘make us happy’.

codependent
A very simple and spiritual truth is this: YOU are the only one who has the power to make yourself happy or not. Once you receive this lesson, apply it to your life, and love others not because of what they can offer you, but because you just LOVE their essence and who they are, your relationships will go so so so much better.

And this is why I don’t usually make a big deal out of Valentine’s Day (as I feel every day is a great day to show love), yet still support it because it is about this feel-good emotion. Nothing better,  as it is where we came from, what heals in this lifetime, and where we will return to.

But because many other people do get this yet still want to treat their hunny on this special day, I’m going to share with you 3 fantastic chocolate treats (my favorite I’ve ever posted on Bloom for Life) for you to make this Valentine’s Day:

1) Chocolate Espresso Torte

To live for. That’s all I’m going to say. You see how this is listed as #1? It’s because it regularly receives the statement, “This is the best thing I have EVER put in my mouth” … and it causes something of an orgasmic state of being thanks to the cacao and beautiful overtones of coffee – not to mention the graham cracker-like crust with oats, cinnamon, and honey.

2) Easy Raw Fudge

I recently posted this recipe on Life’s Flower, a sister site of Earth We Are One which I write for quite a bit. You won’t be disappointed! It’s super easy to make and is quite delectable if you’re new to this whole ‘kitchen’ thing.

3) Raw, Vegan SNICKERS Bar

Well now, this also received the statement, “I’ve never, ever tasted something this good before… Nom Nom Nom…” So you can bet it also raises the bar. (Hehe, dorky pun)

There you go! I hope you all have a fantastic Valentine’s Day… And, if you enjoyed this post, I would LOVE feedback.

Currently there are still a lot of works in planning and creation for Bloom for Life readers, including a 7-Day Raw Food Cleanse (with a 3-day transition and healthy lifestyle tips). Would you, wonderful friend, be interested in something like that?

I love comments and shares, so thank you all!

xo Bloom for Life, you deserve nothing less.
