Hey, beautiful!

I hope you are well! It is an eventful and interesting time on this planet, and I know many of us are a bit confused and tired as worldviews are being shaken up.

All I can say at this time is to have faith and really make the effort to care for yourself. When your body is nourished, your mind will be at ease, and it will be a smoother process handling the transitions and processes.

As I am writing about in a new book (Eeek! I’m excited – it’s completely new), everyone who has chosen to incarnate onto this planet during this time is a warrior and deserves to be honored as such. There is much contrast on Earth, but the foundation must be shaken up for us to look toward the heavens and start questioning who we are and our role in this life.

Never feel you are alone; reach out to loved ones, and make the effort to list 10 things you are grateful for every day. It’s the little things that count, and these habits will keep you tethered to hope during this time of important change.

Onward!

Anyways, being in Ubud, Bali, where there are a ton of healthy – and cheap! – raw food options. I’m a bit spoiled as I can go to cafes and get a smoothie for $1-$2 that includes yummy bits such as coconut milk, spirulina, moringa, etc… therefore the kitchen is getting a bit neglected.

Don’t worry, that will change soon. In February, I’ll be in Africa and will be cooking and making videos on the daily, so it will all be balanced out. 😉

Last time I was in Asia, however, I was working at the holistic cancer clinic Verita Life and made the following smoothie for cancer patients every morning.

People in this culture rarely eat raw foods, so this spicy smoothie was a way to appeal to their palate and entice them to consume more enzyme-rich, nutrient-dense foods.

I hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as I do! It’s low-glycemic (which is important for cancer patients, and everyone, really) and tastes delicious.
