Growing up, I only remember ever having beets on the table, pickled, smelling disgusting, and looking even worse. It wasn’t until I went vegetarian at 15 that I tried them out for the first time…and still thought they were a big miss on the vegetable scale. They have a very earthy taste and are blood red… but, if you want to enjoy this super healing food, I learned you have to know how to prepare it!
Now one of my favorite root vegetables to incorporate into my lifestyle, I know that beets are amazingly high in Vitamin A, C, anti-oxidants (prevent aging, cell degeneration), heal the kidneys, and build the blood. It can actually taste pretty brilliant, as well!

BEET Blood Builder Juice

1/2 Large Beet
2-3 Large Carrot
3 Apples
1 Tbsp Knob Ginger
1 Lemon/Lime, juiced
1/4 bunch Cilantro
1) In a juicer, juice all ingredients!
2) Consume right away so it doesn’t oxidize, and enjoy your beauty-enhancing juice!
